Privacy Policy

Who we are

Ugga is an iOS fitness app provided by Wave Pool Solutions LLC (referred to here as “Ugga,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains how the Ugga app handles information.

Information stored on your device

To provide workout tracking and progress features, Ugga stores the following information locally in the app’s private storage on your iPhone:

• Completed workout dates and six-week program completion status
• Exercises, sets, and repetitions you record
• Your selected bodyweight or rock-size category
• Any optional estimated rock weight you enter
• Body-weight entries and dates you choose to add to the premium weight-tracking graph
• Reference photos you choose to take or select for your small, medium, and large training rocks
• Your optional workout-reminder days, time, and enabled status

This information is used only to show your program progress, workout history, and body-weight graph inside Ugga. We do not receive it or store it on our servers.

Information we do not collect

Ugga does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, health records, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or payment information. Ugga only accesses a photo you take with the in-app camera or explicitly choose for a rock reference; it does not scan or upload your photo library. Ugga does not include advertising, analytics, third-party tracking, or third-party software development kits.

Notifications

If you enable workout reminders, Ugga asks iOS for notification permission and schedules your selected reminders locally on your device. Your reminder schedule is not sent to us. You can turn reminders off in Ugga or change notification permission in iOS Settings.

Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Ugga requests permission to write completed workouts to the Health app. Ugga saves the workout type, start time, and duration as a Functional Strength Training workout. Ugga does not request permission to read your Health data, does not estimate or save calories, and does not send Health data to us or any third party.

You can stop future syncing inside Ugga and manage or revoke Health permission in iOS Settings. Workouts already saved to Apple Health remain under your control in the Health app and are not deleted when you stop syncing or delete Ugga.

Purchases

Ugga offers an optional one-time in-app purchase. Apple processes the transaction and provides Ugga with entitlement information needed to determine whether premium features are unlocked. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple handles purchase information under Apple’s own privacy policy.

Sharing and selling

Ugga does not transmit your workout information to us or to third parties. If you explicitly connect Apple Health, completed workout details are written directly to Apple Health on your device at your direction. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information and do not use information for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Retention and deletion

Your workout and body-weight information remain on your device until you change them or delete Ugga. Deleting the app removes Ugga’s locally stored data from the device but does not delete workouts you previously chose to save to Apple Health; you can manage those records in the Health app. Because we do not keep a server-side copy, there is no Ugga account or remote record for us to retrieve or delete.

Depending on your Apple device and backup settings, Apple may include app data in an iCloud or device backup. Those backups are controlled by you and handled under Apple’s policies.

Data security

Ugga relies on the protections of the iOS app sandbox and your device security settings. No method of storage is completely risk-free, so we recommend using a device passcode and keeping iOS up to date.

Children’s privacy

Ugga is not directed to children under 13. Because the app does not collect or transmit personal information, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if Ugga’s features or privacy practices change. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
